Go on Mission

We will be staying in the most gorgeous little cottages on the campus. One priority of the week will be to give the house parents, who serve 24-7 of each cottage a short ‘vacation’ as we will be staying 2-3 of the nights in the houses with the children - seeing firsthand how they live as a family. We will be working alongside the dedicated staff, spending time with children and youth, building relationships, having fun, and discovering God’s awesome plan for each of the young people who reside there! Another feature of this trip is we will be hosting a talent show for the children to showcase their talents and we’ll work with the kids through rehearsals to help them prepare! Spanish-speaking ability desired, but certainly not required.

The home seeks to provide support, encouragement, Bible Studies, and guidance to the students who live there. Depending upon the size of the team, we will be staying at Casa Proa or at a local hotel. The priority for the week will be to meet one-on-one with the students throughout the week; spending time with them to discuss life-skills, career goals, and much more as we will develop a booklet to be used to guide the team members. Interpretors will be available. Spanish-speaking ability desired, but not required.

A priority of this week will be dedicated to building a playground and when it is all complete, we will have a huge celebration to dedicate it to the kids in the community. The team will also spend time in the communities, building relationships and enjoying the beautiful culture of Ecuador. Background check required.

Visit villages & support kids’ camp with over 550 children! We will serve during the Kids Camp by staying in the cabins with the children and building relationships. The national language of Ghana is English so most of the children will speak English! After the camp is completed, we will travel to several remote villages so see how Christian Fellowship Church and other partners are making a difference!
